Really cute, daughter loves it.
Date:August 26, 2015
Pros: High quality, fun, easy to use, encourages writing
Cons: voice recognition needs work
This is a really cute electronic locking journal. My 7 year old daughter loves it very much and uses it often. It has a secret compartment for trinkets/jewelry which is an excellent addition. The voice record idea is fun but I was able to unlock it with me saying the password she recorded and she got locked out saying it herself and called an intruder which was funny but not what should happen. It's not a big deal though, she didn't seem to mind and it was funny and she still uses it a lot. It works well and the light and secret writing pen are a clear winner with her.

Best Journal and Play in One
Date:August 26, 2015
My 8 year old has been begging for a journal and was so excited to get this for her. We got her a normal lock and key one and it only took one night for her to lose the key and a breakdown followed. This product fixes this problem since its a voice activated lock. It is also great you don't have to have a password to get in if you don't want to. The best part about it and that my daughter can't get enough of the intruder alert and how you can personalize the message the intruder gets after trying to get in her journal. She has changed the message so many times with ease. She loves making her siblings try and get in so she can hear her message and then once she opens the journal hearing who the intruder was. The special invisible ink that can only be read with the special light is also a great feature of this product. I love as the parent how easy it is to figure out how to use all of the special features even for my daughter. There was a moment of frustration from my daughter when she opened it and we hadn't gone over the instructions together yet and she tried it on her own and it didn't work, but once we sat down and read together she was able to do it all on her own. I would highly recommend this journal to any one looking for one for their child.

A cute journal with some cool tech options
Date:August 26, 2015
Pros: High quality, Durable
There are lots of really cool features on this journal - you can record a voice-recognition password and a special greeting warning people not to try to pry, and there is a special invisible ink pen which can only be read with the built-in ultraviolet light. My only real complaint is that the notebook included is pretty small and doesn't have many pages. Not sure if there are refills you can purchase?
