My daughter loves this! When she first opened it she wasn't so sure of how to keep her stuff secure. She made a password and no one can open it but her. It has a black light that she can write secret notes on. The journal part of it is wonderful. Notebook is decent size and pen comes with it. Quality is very well durable and user friendly. It could be used for ages 5 and up. Easy to use and a great product overall!
My daughter has been asking for one of these for quite some time. This was perfect for her, and she says that she absolutely loves it!
She likes that there is numerous ways that she can 'lock' this to keep her brothers out. Especially because her and her brother are young enough, that their voices are similar, so he can unlock it by voice. However, she has triple security activated to keep him from knowing what is going on.
She loves the lamp and the magic pen, so that they can't see what she wrote unless they figure out where the lamp is (which neither has done yet).
The color scheme of this is perfect, and she said it is exactly what she imagined!

My daughter was so excited when she got to open and try the Electronic Journal. She loved it so much she had me make a video about it on YouTube to show other kids how cool it was. When I asked about her favorite features she said she really loved the voice protection password and that no matter how hard her brothers tried (or me) we could not get in! Its amazing the quality of this product to be able to do that! She loved the pretty flowers on the outside and she loved the secret cubby! Those along with the regular light for night time reading and the special UV light for secret messages were all her favorites. I asked her if she was going to tell her friends back at school about it and she said of course!! She uses the journal everyday and even brought it camping with us. It held up well and did nit get dirty at all! That was amazing to me! The only drawback to the journal would be the fact that she asked about the UV pen and where we could get another if it was to run out. It hasn't yet but I think she is worried about getting a replacement one, Ali,g with getting replacement paper book for it. This are some things that we would like to see on the market, sold desperately in case she runs out if the paper and the I,k in the UV pen. She is close to running out of the paper now and is worried about that. As you can tell it's a huge fan favorite with her and with me! Thank you very much for letting us have this item to review! When my daughter received her password journal she was so excited. She loved the colors. She really likes the fact that she can record sayings in her own voice. She also likes that the only way the Journal can be open is with her voice. She loves that she could record a saying telling her bother to put it down. She thinks its cool that the pen is invisible until the glow light reveals it. Another great feature is that it has serect compartments. It is made from a durable plastic. The only down side of the journal is that you have to be in a totally quite place with no noise in order to be able to record the password and recordings.
