Really cute, daughter loves it.
Date:August 26, 2015
Pros: High quality, fun, easy to use, encourages writing
Cons: voice recognition needs work
This is a really cute electronic locking journal. My 7 year old daughter loves it very much and uses it often. It has a secret compartment for trinkets/jewelry which is an excellent addition. The voice record idea is fun but I was able to unlock it with me saying the password she recorded and she got locked out saying it herself and called an intruder which was funny but not what should happen. It's not a big deal though, she didn't seem to mind and it was funny and she still uses it a lot. It works well and the light and secret writing pen are a clear winner with her.

A whole lot of fun
Date:August 19, 2015
Pros: High quality, fun
We recently received the "My Password Journal" to play with and review. We gave this primarily to my 11 year old Foster Daughter to try out. I have to say that all of her sibings liked this toy as well. There are four foster children ages 6 - 11, two are girls and two are boys. Everyone of them enjoyed it. The journal allows you to record a password in your voice. The other siblings had great fun trying to get the journal to open by attempting to mimic the 11 year olds voice and saying the password. The password journal laughs at the person and says "That is not the password". The journal allows you to record an intruder alert in your own voice as well, which made everyone in the family laugh as the 11 year old's voice said "put my journal down"! She liked sneaking around recording new messages and alerts. She really enjoys the invisible ink pen and light features that this journal offers. Another thing that is pretty cool is the secret compartment in the journal underneath where the paper goes. She is already planning to hide her money in the secret compartment so her little sister can't find it! Nice quality, and alot of fun too! The instructions that came with the journal were easy to follow and the kids could understand the instructions as well by reading them, themselves.
