Awesome
Date:August 22, 2015
Pros: High quality
This is so cute and awesome for my 6 year old. This is a very stylish electronic journal and it offers the ultimate privacy and protection for young girls. Voice activated lock only opens to your voice which my daughter thinks is so awesome! For extra security, the journal will record an intruder's voice to catch the culprit. You can also record a customized intruder alert to ward them off if they try to get in it.This includes invisible ink pen and dual black light that is also a reading light.

received for play, rate, and review program
Date:August 22, 2015
Pros: High quality, well-made product, good sound quality
Cons: very sensitive to noise, allowed access to other people who put in password
My daughter and I received the my password journal to test out for the play, rate, and review program. We took it out of the box and had a hard time opening it then found out you have to insert batteries before attempting to open the journal. Then we had to press a button at the top of the journal to open it and did notice in the directions to put in batteries before attempting to open the journal. My daughter enjoyed the product however the journal kept on saying the room was too noisy when trying open the journal with her password. Also there might have been a glitch because whenever her sister tried to open the product using her sister's password it would always open. Except for these minor glitches, my daughter enjoyed the product and got a lot of playtime from it.

Great for Young Girls and Preteens
Date:August 22, 2015
Pros: High quality, Durable, voice activation works great
Cons: a little bulky
The My Password Journal has worked great and I am really impressed. We had read other reviews and knew that it was best to record the password in a quiet room and so that is what we did. It worked great and when someone else in our family tried, it give the message that we set for intruders. We found it to work pretty consistently. The fun part is that the message to intruders can be whatever you want it to be. So for my kids and their friends, it's fun to keep changing this message. Also, even when another person says the correct password, it doesn't work. My kids all tried this and were frustrated they could not break into the journal. The My Password Journal recognizes the voice as well as the word. Very cool! The messages and password can be changed really easily. The instructions provided are easy to use and understand.
This really looks different than a lot of other journals. The outside is a hard plastic case that is bright pink and purple with flower. When you open the inside, there is a small notepad and pen that sits inside the outer plastic case. The pen is an invisible ink pen. The notepad is small but in a way this is almost good for someone just starting to journal. It's not so overwhelming to fell like you have to fill up a page. Inside the case are several other things. There is a Glow and Show light so that you can see the invisible ink words on the page. There is also a secret storage compartment. This is really fun. My kids have always loved toys that have somewhere they can hide their small favorite items they feel like are of "value". It is a little bulky for carrying around.
The My Journal Password is definitely a toy and that is what I assumed when I heard about it and saw it. I knew it wasn't meant for a teenager or adult. This is really great for young children but even preteens will love it. I am really impressed with it.

A sense of privacy
Date:August 21, 2015
Pros: Durable, password protected
Cons: Not durable, i can't get in
My daughter is 8 years old and I always see her writing and then hiding her books so no one can see what she wrote. Since she got the Password Journal it gives her a sense of privacy that whatever she writes stays private and her sisters can see it unless they can get in. She loves it. I actually see her writing more now than before. It could be that she feels her thoughts are now secured.
