My 4 year old daughter was very excited to open this toy up and get busy playing. The little toys with the suction cups were her favorite things and a very clever idea. Also, she loved all the little details like the swing, elevator and, of course, the ferris wheel. Unfortunately, Polly and her friends couldn't seem to remain on the seats when the wheel turned and my daughter got a little frustrated when they kept falling off. Otherwise, a very fun toy and kept my daughter entertained for quite some time!
My 10 year old daughter had loads of fun playing with the Polly Pocket Wall Party Mall on the Walll. First, it took less than 10 minutes to put the Mall together and my daughter loved helping to put the pieces together. It was easy to assemble in 5 steps. Next, it was ingenuous to place it on the wall keeping small pieces away from babies and dogs' mouths and not losing pieces. My daughter loved putting the pieces in the mall shops - purses, camera, phone, food items. She also loved the ferris wheel, escalator and elevator - moving parts! After awhile, my daughter invited her 9 year old friend to play and they loved shoppong at the mall together.
There are so many little things to do with the Polly Pocket Wall Party. Even though it looks like its for a girl what I did as soon as I got it was mount it above my sons Lego table where he has a whole city and zoo he created...so why not have a mall above the table. Hey boys go to the mall too and have ice cream and go on Ferris wheels and love going up and down the escalator/elevator. It's made pretty well. Some of the plastic pieces are a bit flimsy. I wish it would have come with two dolls (boy/girl) instead of just one. I think the price is a bit high for this toy. Should have been more like $30 with an extra figure.
