I think it is a little expensive for all the plastic but it is good mattel quality.my granddaughter has one she loves it, she gets frustrated when she moves a doll around in setting and knocks things over, it is a close area. it is great .I wish I had one when I was younger

Loved mine when I was a kid!
Date:September 13, 2013
Cons: Low quality
The dream house was exactly as pictured, excellent detailed pieces, very easy to put together, my 6 year old loves it. We were disappointed that the light that comes with it has never worked unless you are pressing on it and the cord that makes the elevator move pops off of the elevator very easily. Seems like the quality of the working parts is not what it used to be but none of that bothers my daughter one bit!

Barbie dreamhouse
Date:September 13, 2013
Pros: kids love it. keeps them busy
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, take a lot of space
It was hard to put together, and difficult to get working right. It also causes a problem for military families because it doesn't come apart to move. All this said my granddaughters love it and can play with it for hours. It's big enough that several kids can easily play with it at the same time. It would be nice if it was made to come apart a bit for storage and moving.
