Well worth it

Got this for my 5 year old daughter for her barbies and she also uses her ponies and her 9 year old sister uses it with her Monster High dolls as well. Many accessories and lots of space for them to both play.

Pros: Durable
Cons: the fireplace doesn't always click in
My daughter loves her Barbie Dream house. It was the only thing she wanted. The instructions were a little hard to follow and could be a little more user friendly. You have to make sure the fireplace is tight against the wall to lite up. Otherwise everything on it is great.

Happy with purchase

Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Shipping was in a very timely manner. The only thing I have an issue with is the elevator. It was easy to install (just follow directions and you will be fine) but the cord is a smidge too short and when you pull the elevator up, it cord comes undone. I think there is enough cord to adjust the tension. Other than that, my daughter was very happy Santa brought her what she asked for.

Great Play Value

Pros: high play value
Cons: cheaply made
We bought this for our 6 year old. Fairly easy to put together, but it is made of plastic and I can see it will break in the future. The fireplace will work if you push it against the wall, but a kid shoud not have to do this everytime she wants it to work. Other than those probs, it is a very good toy. Our daughter loves it very much! She plays and plays with it. I suggest putting it together where it is going to be placed and leaving it there for good. We moved ours and you can hear the plastic creaking with every move. Overall my kid loves it and keeps going back to it. We just hope it will last a few years. I would buy it again though.
