Pros: High quality, perfect color match
The Monster High CAM Packs were a great idea for inspiring creativity in children, but there were never enough pieces to make all the dolls they might want. Making these torsos available and at such a reasonable price really went a long way to show that Mattel is sensitive to the needs of its customers! Good job!

Pros: High quality, Durable, missing pieces to other kits
I am glad that mattel finally decided to release a wave one torso pack, think about it, not everyone might want a bee with a pink torso or a skeleton with a fleshy looking torso. Some people like to get the dolls just to put on shelves or to customize, and having the actual torso color match? priceless. So for the great price on here I was able to complete a bee and a skeleton. Well worth it.

These torsos are prefect for the add on mix & match create a monster pack!
The Yellow torso completes the bee & purple torso is great for the sea monster.
I am so glad I still have a couple torsos left to make the mermaid & the siren if I can get my hands on them!

I bought the monster high dolls with clothing, arms, legs, etc and found out you needed the starter set which included the bodies, which I could not find in any local store. Mattel saved the day. They sold them for a reasonable price. I intend to give them to my granddaughter, who is "Monster High Crazy" and sure she will be delighted."Thank you" Mattel.

Early CaM Owners Should Buy!

With the move of CaM Starters to having two torsoes, it's nice that they are selling the missing torsoes to the old sets. It's an economical way to maximize the use of the earlier Create-A-Monster sets, which is something I was expecting for a while, actually, though I admit I was expecting them to be clad in a new fashion, or something, but I can't argue with the price. I imagine this is online-only due to how specialized it is.

Exactly what I had been looking for! Finally, no more mismatched torsos! Each body came pre-assembled in the bag which is nice. But the joints were all fused together and took some work to get working.That was my only issue, but worth every penny.

I love the monster High doll line is about being creative and 'min 'n matching' parts and being yourself, but even with that, for the collectors and adult Mattel has created these to complete some of the extra packs so people could have complete dolls.
Honestly I thought they might be lesser quality because they were a site only pack that wasn't really geared toward the real main line of the dolls, but they were great quality, no flaws in the plastic or anything. And if you do plan on giving them to children, that's alright, because these are reallly durable! Let them have fun!
I defiantly recommend these, ESPECIALLY for the price!!

I hated getting the bee-girl and etc, since they are incomplete and i'm not into mix-and-matching the dolls, but i'd love to have complete dolls, and this is the set we need for PUMA boy, since he looks dreadful with gray or pink skin that doesn't match his limbs and head. Please, mattel, make more sets of these for the others, like the nocturnal cat that needs matching arms and thighs, and etc.

Cons: still some add-ons without matching torsos
Great for anyone who wants the option of having their CAMs be all one color to fit in with the official characters, rather than looking like bizarre patchwork creatures. Hopefully down the line they'll release buyable torsos for the Ghost Girl and Puma Boy as well, presumably once there's a few more new CAM add-on packs, so they can just do another set like this one. (You could use the skeleton torso for the ghost, but the skeleton white doesn't quite match the glow-in-the-dark skin of the ghost -- and if you have or want both, one of them is going to be left out anyway.)

My 9 and 11 year old daughters were very happy to find the torsos for such a reasonable price, and now they can build several create a monsters at the same time with matching (color) bodies. They have alot of fun creating their own dolls and being able to put them together to play.

Nice, but missing stands, and more body choices

Cons: Not durable, these are all pretty fragile toys.
The included bodies are perfect for the 1st release build a monsters sets EXCEPT they didn;t include stands for the dolls. Since the build a figures ALSO do not come with stands, your completed figures are going to be laying on the table, instead of standing proudly with the other figures. C'mon, Mattel.. you didn;t thinkl people completeing these would want to display them?
Also, the newer build a monsters sets require a different selection of bodies, so you either have to mix n match the ones in this set, or buy other complete (and more expensive) figures to complete the later releases anyway.
A second assortment to accomodate the later build a monsters sets would be nice (Especially if it ALSO included stands!!)
These ARE better price wise than buying additional figures to complete them, BUT you are missing stands with this choice.
We'd gladly have paid a few dollars more to have stands included with the bodybag.

It's nice of Mattel to FINALLY include torsos for the add-on packs; it was the least they could do.
Though, in the Vampire & Sea Monster kit I bought, both torsos were included, so an extra Sea Monster torso was not needed, but a Ghost torso, with upper arms & legs, was. I really hope I don't have to purchase another one of these packs, just to use for the ghost girl. :(
Over all, it was a considerate gesture, but they really should pay attention to their own products.
