My little girl opened it Christmas morning and the vac DID NOT WORK! ..how do you explain that! Well, I did, then I contacted Mattel immediately because I was very upset about this. Low and behold their customer service contacted me via email minutes after my complaint, and by 10am the next morning there was one of santa's elves knocking at my door with a new one! I was able to convince her and told her an elf had delivered a new one and santa was very, very sorry the first one did not work and she was estatic. She actually said to me "Mommy Santat must have heard me crying thats why he sent me a new one so fast! " You see everyone, THAT'sChristmas Magic and that's how its done! Mattel is magic and has the true spirit of Christmas for children! . From this day forward, I will always brag about Mattel to everyone I know regarding their customer service department and what an excellent manufacturer they are. No other toy manufacturer I've delt with have ever done what Mattel did with no hassel, nothing. Mattel just did the right thing that is why they are still around unlike other manufacturers in my opinion. They are off the charts with their products and customer service! THANK YOU AGAIN AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Cons: doesn't work
The glitter is a nice color, but the vacuum doesn't work and the glitter just makes a mess and it's difficult to clean up.

Pros: pretty doll
Cons: doesn't work as advertised
I grew up with & love Barbie products. This one is a miss, though. The doll is adorable, the idea is cute, but the "vaccuum" works poorly. I thought I put in bad batteries at first, but when I checked the batteries they were strong. Once the glitter is collected in the opposite end, it is nearly impossible to get the glitter out of the vaccuum to collect in the glitter container. My daughter begged for this Barbie for weeks and played with it twice.
